Chris Rogerson will be the composer-in-residence for the Young Artist Program in 2009.

Each season, the Festival has in residence for Music From Angel Fire's "Young Artist Program", ten to twelve selected student-musicians from the Curtis Institute of Music of Philadelphia . These young musicians reside in Angel Fire during the Festival season. They study and publicly perform alongside the Festival's professional musicians, thereby gaining invaluable concert experience. The Young Artist Program is designed for education and performance and broadens the Festival's educational outreach concerts, "Music in Our Schools."
