Young Artist Program

2016 Young ArtistsEach season since 1998, the Festival has in residence for Music From Angel Fire's "Young Artist Program", ten to fourteen selected student-musicians from the Curtis Institute of Music of Philadelphia. These young musicians resided in Angel Fire during the Festival season. They studied and publicly performed alongside the Festival's professional musicians, thereby gaining invaluable concert experience. The Young Artist Program is designed for education and performance and broadens the Festival's educational outreach concerts, "Music in Our Schools."

The 2016 Young Artist and Music in Our Schools programs are supported in part by the following sponsors: Lange Family Foundation, Albert I Pierce Foundation, Waite and Genevieve Phillips Foundation, Questa Mine/Chevron Mining, Harold N. Tenenbom Educational Fund, Thistlewood Foundation and Rosalie and Frank Turner.
