Who: Music from Angel Fire solicits painting or drawing entries from all artists.
What: MFAF need to select a painting or drawing to represent our 2026 Music Festival. The
work will be used in promoting the Festival through ticket brochures, our website, art prints,
programs and other advertising. The original work will be exhibited at concerts and in the
MFAF office for a silent auction, with proceeds being divided between the artist (50%) and
MFAF (50%). A minimum starting bid will be determined after the selection of the piece.
When: Entries must be submitted by February 26, 2026.
Where: The artwork should be representative of our beautiful northern New Mexico area. This year’s theme will be a patriotic one; however, this criteria isn’t mandatory for your submission. The size of the artwork needs to be 11″ X 14″ for the smallest and 24″ X 36”” for the largest. Our artwork for 2025 was Maurico Meneses’ The Fox Symphony (Let’s Dream Together) which can be seen here.
Why: The joint endeavor highlights both artists of Northern New Mexico and Music from Angel Fire, enriches community/area involvement, and provides publicity for the selected artist.
Other Details:
- Submissions need to be made by March 6, 2026
- Submissions may be made via .jpg file to [email protected], or you may bring it to the office at 3382 Mountain View Blvd., Ste C. (call first).
- MFAF will select the artwork and an agreement will be completed with the artist by March 13, 2026.
- Artist needs to provide MFAF a camera ready photo of the artwork.
- Artist will need to provide a bio at a later date to be included in the program.
- MFAF will utilize the artwork in all Festival marketing with the artist being acknowledged as creator and copyright owner of the artwork.
- Artist will receive 6 total complimentary Festival tickets and 10 complimentary art prints.
